Having an amazing time on the European tour with Christopher Cross! We’re working a lot—almost solid shows—but playing some great venues to full houses with a top notch band, so all is good! Traveling on a really nice tour bus and some flying…Had a nice day off in Madrid yesterday…Audiences know all the new songs as well as the long-standing hits—be sure to download or pick up CC’s new CD, “Dr. Faith”—it’s a great piece of work.

Just did a very successful and fun drum clinic with my bandmate and famed percussionist Richie Garcia in Hannover, Germany. The clinic was sponsored by Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA), where I am a staff instructor, and the Music College of Hannover in Germany. We had a great crowd and really enjoyed getting to know people from the school overseas.

I am on day one of a 3 1/2-week European Tour with Christopher Cross and band to promote CC’s new CD ” Doctor Faith,” which I’m proud to say I’m drumming on… We play London first, then I do a Drum Clinic in Hanover with my bandmate and percussionist extraordinaire, Richie “Gajate” Garcia. Recently taught the Rock Drums lecture and lead the Ensemble Workshop at the “Drummer’s Reality Camp” at LA Music Academy in Pasadena, where I teach throughout the year. What a powerful weekend, with students and musical greats from all over the world. Other special guest drummers included Ralph Humphrey, Alex Acuna, Kenny Aronoff, Terry Bozzio, Danny Seraphine and Joe Porcaro.
